His Witness For Truth Will Not Be Silenced

Together with countless others across the nation and throughout the world, we at Life Legal mourn the devastating loss of Charlie Kirk at age 31. Charlie was assassinated in a cowardly attack at a public appearance in Orem, Utah—an act of violence that struck at the very heart of free expression. As of this writing, the perpetrator is still at large.

As Founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, Charlie carved out a unique place in America’s political and cultural landscape. He was a rare voice of sanity and reason in the public square, marked by an uncompromising willingness to engage those who opposed him. After the assassination, numerous sympathetic commentators observed that “dialogue was dead” and that “debate had been murdered.” Even before his appearance at Utah Valley University, a petition had circulated calling on the university to cancel him. 

Charlie was a relentless defender of life who saw abortion as a mortal wound piercing the very soul of the nation. Yet his deep conviction never diminished his commitment to open dialogue. With humility and unflinching resolve, he faced pro-abortion crowds head-on—even when he stood alone as the single pro-life voice.

Make no mistake: September 10, 2025 was not the first time Charlie encountered the threat of violence. He knew he had enemies who wanted him dead. Still, he pressed on with extraordinary courage, sustained by his faith in Jesus Christ. 

Charlie Kirk will be profoundly missed, but his influence endures. He inspired countless young people to stand for truth and for the child in the womb. Please join us in praying for his wife and children during this time of unimaginable grief.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
