John Madigan, J.D. | Director of Legacy Planning

During the 1990’s, John Madigan represented dozens charged with acts of civil disobedience near abortion clinics. He was introduced to Life Legal through a case challenging a Chicago politician’s authority to compel taxpayer-funded abortions at the nation’s largest public hospital.

John has served non-profit organizations as a consultant and in executive roles for more than 20 years. He was a member of Life Legal’s Board of Directors, and recently accepted an active role as Director of Legacy Planning. He now works with Life Legal supporters to help secure Life Legal’s future “defending the defenders of life”.

John graduated from Notre Dame and Vanderbilt’s School of Law.  He and his wife, Jennifer, are the parents of seven and grandparents of four.
