This Labor Day, thank you for your witness
This Labor Day, we want to thank you for the many ways you faithfully work to build a culture that recognizes every human life as a gift from God.
Sometimes being pro-life is associated primarily with standing on the sidewalk, showing up in court, or serving at a pregnancy resource center. Those are important forms of witness—but the pro-life mission is also lived out in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
It is the mother raising her children, the father working to provide for his family, the person caring for an elderly parent, and the simple act of recognizing the dignity of the people we encounter each day.
Being pro-life is a way of life—pun intended. It means seeing the value of every person, from the very beginning of life until natural death, and allowing that truth to shape the way we live, work, serve, and love.
So as we celebrate Labor Day, may we continue to be faithful laborers in the vineyard of the Lord through our prayers, our work, and our everyday witness.
