In 2024, Life Legal…
- Celebrated 35 years of serving the pro-life cause!
- Defended pro-lifers from unjust lawfare by state and federal agencies, including these in Ohio, New York, and Washington DC.
- Intervened to restore life-sustaining medical care to patients threatened with death by starvation and dehydration – and saved the life of a young girl who doctors insisted was “dead,” but who is now able to communicate with her family.
- Sued California for discriminating against women who choose not to abort their babies.
- Protected pro-life pregnancy centers and clinics from tyrannical pro-abortion extremists who want to shut them down – here’s just one example.
- Filed a lawsuit on behalf of doctors who don’t want an abortion clinic in their medical complex.
- Represented sidewalk counselors who were harassed for exercising their First Amendment rights, including an Ohio woman who was physically dragged away as she was praying on public property outside Planned Parenthood.
- Fought back against San Francisco’s attempt to silence pro-life speech exposing horrific experiments on aborted babies – and won!

Here are just a few more of our 2024 cases:
- Educated hundreds of individuals at in-person conferences like this one on how to protect themselves from unwanted termination of life-saving care.
- Represented a grandmother who was charged with criminal harassment after she pled with her grandson’s mother not to abort him – see Justice for Levi.
- Successfully opposed changes in the law that would make it easier to declare people brain dead for the purpose of harvesting their organs.
- Continued to sponsor California Right to Life, an education and advocacy organization that reaches young people on high school and college campuses.
- Sought justice for an elderly pro-lifer who was severely injured while praying outside an abortion mill.
- Ensured that a pro-life team in Georgia could continue its ministry outside abortion clinics – they saved over 100 babies last year alone!
- Submitted legal briefs in numerous high-profile cases, including the Biden administration’s attempt to force doctors to commit abortions (click here for more) and a school’s draconian attempt to silence a young teen.
- Fought to get charges dismissed against individuals who were arrested for pro-life speech, including a California man who was the victim of overzealous prosecution for sidewalk chalking.
- Won a lawsuit challenging an assisted suicide law that would have required doctors to participate in killing their patients.
