- Repeal or Overturn the FACE Act: Repeal or Overturn the FACE Act: This law has been weaponized to unfairly target peaceful pro-life advocates. Life Legal is working to appeal Herb Geraghty’s unjust conviction in the Washington DC FACE case with the ultimate goal of overturning FACE or at least sharply limiting its application. We are equipping policy makers with detailed information about the many abuses of this law and we support legislation that would repeal FACE to ensure that pro-lifers are not prosecuted for peacefully protesting abortion.
- Combat Radical Abortion Measures at the State Level: Eleven states have passed constitutional amendments enshrining abortion rights, including states like Ohio and Missouri that once had robust protections for the unborn. Life Legal is actively supporting state-level efforts to counter these radical policies and promote pro-life laws.
- Support Mothers and Families: Protecting life means offering real support to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Life Legal works closely with pregnancy centers to ensure that they can continue to provide life-saving hope and tangible resources.
- Defund the Abortion Industry: Planned Parenthood and similar organizations continue to profit from the destruction of innocent lives. Life Legal continues to urge Congress to defund these organizations and redirect funds to life-affirming alternatives.
