You may have heard that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) teamed up with Planned Parenthood to provide free abortions and vasectomies during their convention this week. Planned Parenthood’s abortion bus is stationed at the convention, handing out abortion pills to women and sterilizing men. The abortion giant refers to its mobile murder unit as “the villa” and calls it “demuretsy,” inspired by the new TikTok trend emphasizing things that are demure and “very cutesy.” Because abortionists find bloodied, lifeless babies so adorable. Very demure.
Just for fun, I asked ChatGPT (artificial intelligence) about Planned Parenthood’s abortion bus. The chatbot told me stories about the bus were “fabricated” and “part of disinformation campaigns.” It said “The idea of Planned Parenthood having an ‘abortion bus’ at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) convention is not based in reality. There is no evidence or credible reports that such a bus exists or that Planned Parenthood has provided abortion services or vasectomies at the DNC convention.” (See screenshot of actual chat below.)
Thank you, Ministry of Truth.
When Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, which operates the bus, proudly announced the bus’s arrival at the DNC on X, the reaction was swift – and overwhelmingly negative. Here’s a selection of public opinions about what some are calling a mobile infant sacrifice altar:
- PP has the moral compass of Bill the Butcher, but without all the charm….
- In the next cycle, they will offer mobile euthanasia.
- Eugenics will make America great again.
- Make sure the van isn’t parked in a back alley….
- Will an actual demon be driving your spay and neuter bus?
- Hey look! A mobile ethnic cleansing unit. Margaret Sanger would be so proud.
- Another “drive-by” killing of innocents in Chicago.
Neither Planned Parenthood nor the DNC has bothered to explain what recourse women who are injured by abortion have once the bus leaves town. Of course, that’s the beauty of abortion pills. Excessive bleeding, infections, uterine ruptures, rotting body parts – and dead babies – become someone else’s problem. In nearly half of all states, including Illinois, these problems go unreported as Planned Parenthood-funded lawmakers eliminate reporting requirements for abortion complications. This, in turn, allows abortionists to say with a straight face that there is no evidence showing that abortion is harmful to women.
Life Legal is working with individuals and organizations to change that. We file public records requests to get information about cases where we suspect that a woman was injured or killed during a chemical or surgical abortion. We follow up on cases where women are transported from abortion clinics by ambulance, we investigate incident reports involving abortion drugs, we field calls from women who suffered harm from a “safe” abortion, and we help file malpractice lawsuits against abortionists. Based on our findings, women who enter Planned Parenthood’s very cutesy travelling abortuary are significantly more likely to suffer complications from abortion than they’ve been told.
Meanwhile, inside the convention, speakers will boast about how their party expanded “reproductive freedom” by deregulating abortion – all while throwing unborn babies and their mothers under the bus.
Together, we can create a society where every life is cherished and protected under the law.
