What You Made Possible In 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, I’m grateful to share our 2025 Annual Report—and to thank you for what your generosity made possible this year.

Again and again, people reached out to Life Legal at the most critical moments of their lives—when a loved one’s life was in jeopardy, when their voice was being silenced, or when they were facing the hostility of the state alone. Because of you, we were able to respond with experienced, immediate help—when delay would have put lives and fundamental rights at risk.

Here are just a few examples of what you made possible in 2025:

• Justice upheld when the stakes were highest.
Charges were dismissed in the AJ Hurley case, and the City of Redding admitted wrongdoing after arresting a peaceful pro-life counselor without cause. You also helped defend a volunteer falsely accused outside an abortion facility.

• Pro-life voices protected from censorship.
As efforts to silence pro-life speech increased on campuses and in public spaces, your support allowed Life Legal to overturn unlawful restrictions and keep peaceful expression present where it matters most.

• Medically vulnerable patients defended.
You made it possible for us to stand with individuals under intense medical pressure, including representing Roger Foley as he resists coercion toward euthanasia, intervening on behalf of a newborn falsely labeled “beyond hope,” and exposing hospice fraud that endangers patients.

• Peaceful outreach and conscience protected.
Your generosity helped protect individuals charged for offering compassion outside abortion facilities and protect the conscience rights of physicians and other employees who refuse to participate in abortion.

• Unjust laws and government overreach challenged.
Because of you, Life Legal filed critical amicus briefs and challenged a discriminatory California law that favors abortion over childbirth.

These are only a few of the stories from 2025. Our Annual Report offers a fuller picture of how your support equips Life Legal to respond—often at a moment’s notice—when people have nowhere else to turn.
